Swift Skills Foundation is currently in its build and partnership mobilisation phase. We are developing a funder-ready model focused on practical skills pathways, learner support, workplace readiness and measurable outcomes. Historical activity from other Swift Skills entities is not automatically counted as Foundation impact.
South Africa has a structural youth unemployment crisis. We are building a structured response.
South Africa's youth unemployment rate sits above 60% among those aged 15–24. More than 3.7 million young people are Not in Employment, Education, or Training (NEET). The problem is not a lack of ambition — it is a lack of structured, practical and evidence-backed pathways.
The formal education system produces graduates without practical skills. The informal sector cannot absorb them at scale. And the SETA system, while powerful, remains inaccessible to youth who cannot navigate it without support.
Swift Skills Foundation exists to close this gap — not with slogans, but with practical training pathways, workplace readiness and employer-facing opportunity support, with outcomes published only when verified.

We are developing practical vocational pathways across trades, hospitality, business and digital skills. Current programme availability and delivery details are confirmed before enrolment.

Formal accreditation, certification and skills-system relationships are confirmed programme by programme before being presented as verified.
Workplace Readiness Support
Workplace-readiness elements are described according to the confirmed programme design and delivery scope.
Mentorship and Learner Confidence
Mentorship and learner-support elements are included where they form part of the confirmed programme design.
Employer and Funder Alignment
Employer and funder relationships are described publicly only when the current relationship and permission to publish can be documented.
